Test Readers

Hi all!

I know some of you are at, or getting close to, a stage where you’re starting to want second (and third, and fourth) opinions on your fic to get it all polished up. So this is an all call for anyone looking for test readers (to read and give opinions, but not beta) or willing to be a test reader for others!

Feel free to respond and reblog and use this as a jumping off point for getting in touch with one another :)

If our artist isn't interested in collaborating because they have left the fandom/don't respond to messages anymore, is it okay to find someone else to collaborate with? Since working together is half the fun of this reversebang.

Unfortunately, sometimes stuff like that does happen. It really depends what you mean by collaborating - assuming you don’t mean finding another piece of art and such it’s fine if you want to find a friend to bounce ideas off of or talk about your fic with (so long as it isn’t done in a public forum, since we want the stories to remain a surprise!). The intention of the challenge is for one person to write the 6k based off the art, so if it’s still you writing it for the same art it’s fine. (If this doesn’t actually answer your question feel free to ask for more clarification.)

Yes, we do request that all pieces are beta’d before posting. Having a second set of eyes on something catches little things you don’t on your own no matter how good a writer/speller/grammarian you are!
